appreciated how the perfectly clean and relaxing queen room with lovely balconies was arranged when we arrived. the pool was lovely, lovely breakfasts with live music and all available views, for example. location: the hotel was right by jungle and ocean, local beaches and restaurants and ojochal.

The king room we booked was tasteful. The staff were incredibly attentive and top-class and knew the area. It was based in beautiful building in a wonderful and tranquil location, down the hill to El Castillo.

I had a fantastic stay at Alma De Ojochal! the unit was comfortable and came equipped with coffee and tea makers, as well as a fridge, making it very convenient. the private bathroom felt luxurious, which added to my overall experience. the hotel staff were wonderful and helpful throughout my stay. Plus, the location is perfect, situated right by the valley and close to amazing restaurants and some of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica. It’s a great spot to relax and enjoy everything the area has to offer!

Everyone was respectful and caring. the service was fantastic, and parking was conveniently available on site. the hotel is located near an amazing restaurant, and Bakery La Farina, just 2 km away, was a delightful surprise.

I had an unforgettable stay at this hidden gem. The clean and cozy rooms provided the perfect sanctuary after a day of adventure. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking balcony views of the ocean. The pool, with its dual mountain and ocean views, was a slice of paradise. The food, drinks, and live music at Bamboo Room were top-notch, and Janet and John were exceptional hosts. I can't wait to return to this amazing private paradise. highly recommended.

The attention to detail is evident throughout, from the friendly and attentive staff to the stunning views of the jungle from the rooms. The spacious verandas and balconies provide the perfect spot to take in the breathtaking scenery. The breakfast, as well as all the other food served, is well done and delicious.

road to the hotel was challenging

The ocean view from the window was stunning and I could easily walk to a nearby restaurant called Mamma e Papa. The pool was also very nice.

poor bathroom lighting

Christmas decorations were beautiful and the food was tasty. The pool was clean and the view was breathtaking. It was easy to get to the hotel from the main road and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was very small and the bathroom was outdated. The road to get to the hotel was rough and difficult to drive on.
